The Cape of Good Hope, 65 km south of Cape Town in South Africa, is the most south-westerly point of the African continent. This spectacularly beautiful piece if land known as the Cape Peninsula looks like a long crooked finger pointing down to the South Pole. It is home to a multitude of plants and animals including the Chacma baboon (Papio Ursinus). This 52 minute documentary, shot over a period of 7 years, tells the story of the last remaining baboons that are locked into a fierce battle for territory with humans who arrived much later. Since the turn of the century these baboons have effectively been cut off from the rest of their brothers and sisters in Africa by a veritable wall of development. Now they have nowhere else to go and as their natural habitat shrinks, frequent clashes occur with their neighbouring primates, humans.

In the aftermath of this brutal war, children have endured the brunt of the suffering. This 67 minute film documents the plight of thousands of street children living in Kinshasa and confirms the wide-spread accusations of child witchcraft, torture and child prostitution.
The film also examines the efforts to reintegrate demobilized child soldiers, displaced refugees, and orphaned children following the eruption of the massive Nyiragongo volcano, near the city of Goma in Eastern Congo.
These heroic efforts are finally bringing some measure of hope and stability to the lives of the Congolese people. In spite of the Okavango Delta, Botswana does not have unimited water resources. In this film, the team investigates the role of water in the communities and how the country is working to protect the water they have.
But while the river is viewed by some as a sacred entity with great spiritual purity, the environmental reality is another story. Almost 300 million gallons of waste are poured directly in to the river each day. This practice has led the river to become a breeding ground for deadly, waterborne illnesses, which make up 80% of the health problems facing the nation of India.
Perhaps of greatest concern is the impact of climate change on the Himalayas that is melting the glaciers that feed the Ganges, threatening to make the river a seasonal occurrence within a span of decades.
