Spacious Bistro Kitchen
How do you design a clean and bright kitchen that looks far larger than its footprint? Designer Ingrid Oomen tells all in her classic bistro-style space, featured in House & Home magazine. Ingrid and her husband Asad Wali wanted to display their vast wine collection, so they planned the kitchen around a wall of glass wine cabinets. A visit to Italy inspired them to use Carrara marble throughout, and to pair crisp white surfaces with a subway tile backsplash, bold black doors to the yard and industrial-chic schoolhouse pendants.
