Vietnam traffic policeman takes a wild ride
April 13: A Vietnamese traffic police officer went on a wild ride in Hanoi, clinging to the windshield wipers of a moving bus for about a half a mile after a rogue driver tried to avoid a ticket. Traffic police Second Lt. Nguyen Manh Phan ordered bus driver Phung Hong Phuong to pull over the 39-seat passenger coach Monday, but the driver allegedly refused to show his paperwork and tried to drive off, but Phan managed to leap onto the front of the bus.
